You might be wondering why there’s another newsletter about startups. I assure you, this newsletter promises to be unique and different.

Why I started The Early Operator!

I have always been entrepreneurial ( I used to be that kid that was always selling something) and have built a career in the intersection on strategic finance, operations, and analytics. Also, I have always loved the startup ecosystem (founders, VCs, etc.) and have spent several hours consuming information from newsletters, podcasts, TechCrunch and Youtube). Both my entrepreneurial experience and my career have given me visibility into different areas of a business hence my interest in operations, but as I looked for resources focusing mostly on how startups are operated, I couldn’t find a lot of resources. So i decided to start this newsletter to provide that knowledge gap. I will be learning about startup operations from top operators in the startup ecosystem and will be sharing my learnings through this newsletter.

What to expect!

This newsletter hope to give a more holistic view of how a startup is operated. We will be featuring interviews and Q&A sessions from founders, chief of staffs, and folks from strategic finance, sales operations, GTM, partnerships, controllers, just to mention a few.

In addition, we will provide funding updates for startups that raised funding and also share roles in operations for startups that are recruiting. We will also do regular deep dives on startups that are building something interesting in different industries. This newsletter will be informative and will be very useful for founders, VCs, operators or anyone looking to learn about startups and operations.
